Pearl Studios is the new rental studio of Jason McGlade located in the center of Berlin, providing a professional service with a funky and relaxed atmosphere. The site is a simple gallery for prospective clients to visit to view the space online.

Flash video template for Hard Group, Milan
Italian design agency, Hard Group, asked me to make an embedded video player for one of their clients. The player is dynamically driven by XML and uses swfObjects variables to allow Hard Group to create different instances on one page and across different pages.

Jason McGlade's site
Award winning photographer Jason McGlade, wanted a clean and simple site, which best used the latest technologies to display his work. So I created the site to allow the visitor to view the largest possible version of Jason's work. It is XML driven to allow easy single point updates ( I am currently working on a Flex backend, to give Jason greater control over the content). Additionally I created a bespoke video player for the site

fppo.net is reviewed in the Observer music magazine and on the Guardian's site
Out of the blue came a nice review from both the Observers's monthly music magazine and the Guardian newspapers' site. It read: 'FPPO simply allows DJs, producers and presenters to upload radio shows and live music they're happy to share for free. Currently online are archive shows from Kraftwerk live in Buenos Aires and a Derrick May mix from DEMF, plus a new 135-minute psychedelic disco mix from Norwegian spaceman Prins Thomas.'

New portfolio for Tom Hovey
After getting work painting the lobby of the Saatchti and Saatchi HQ in London, Tom wanted a new site to show off his work. He also wanted complete control over content, so I modified Wordpress to suit his needs.

fppo.net is a long running personal project, which has had several locations and looks. The basic premise of the site is to promotes online music and for users to find it. It was initially created for me to practise my HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Flash and general design skills, but it has now grown into a busy place. I recognised the opportunity to automate the site a little using rss feeds and podcasts (already an automatic process) and created one of the earliest music aggregators.

About Me
Well since you asked, I'm Dai and I make websites. These days they are mostly Actionscript 3, Flash based sites, but I do still make HTML/CSS/PHP type sites as well. As you can see from the spinny clicky boxes on this site I've been getting into the opensource 3D engines for AS3, Five3D and Papervision 3D. I've recently got back from a year of hiking, dancing and the occasional spate of programming in South and Central America.
